CIP.jpg

Improve Process must be efficient and effective, well understood throughout the organization, and in continual used. It should be the best preforming process in your organisation.

Every CIP should be managed with these or similar milestones:

  • Achieve CIP ready status

  • Envision Future state & Benefits

  • Analyse Process

  • Redesign / approve Processes

  • Plan Process changes

  • Implement future State and harvest Benefits

There is a full methodology, including forms and templates behind this exercise. A Toolset is beneficial

Remember:

If there is no measured Process, you are not able to improve them, as you do not have a benchmark against it.

Example
Online check-in  -  mainly how to mange the queues

Pay invoice  -  invoices paid in 20 days, than 18 days, .....
(improving from year to year)

85% of the Invoices are paid within 12 days

10% of the invoices are paid withing 21 days, but

the last 5% are paid within 45 days, where the longest have taken 341 days.

There are 5 different ways how this organisation paid the invoices

Delivered improvement/no automation

Variations have been reduced to 2 and the delivery has improved to 95% of invoices are paid within 10days.
